The catfish action has been red hot at Corona Lake. Boat fishermen or shore anglers that are casting into the deeper waters are having the best success. Jose Aguilar, pictured above of Santa Ana fished overnight and caught 10 catfish totaling 38 pounds 10 ounces. Adrian Pintor, Photo #1 of North Hollywood caught 7 catfish totaling 32 pounds 10 ounces using anchovies at J.D.'s point. Dan Van Ngo of Ontario caught his 10 catfish overnight fishing limit totaling 31 pounds 8 ounces using both shrimp and night-crawlers. Justine Chevalier & Alison Sharp, Photo #2 of Brea caught 10 catfish totaling 28 pounds 5 ounces fly lining shrimp from a boat.
