Heaviest stringer of the week was caught by overnight fisherman Donovan Swan of Lake Elsinore. Donovan caught 10 catfish totaling 36 pounds using mackerel from a boat in the middle of the lake. Biggest catfish was caught by Sam Sombounkhane of La Habra, he landed a 11 1/2 pound catfish using shrimp near the boat launch ramp. Jose & Isaac Negrete of Lake Elsinore caught 18 catfish totaling 30 1/2 pounds using both night-crawlers & mackerel from a boat. Ray Costales of Menifee caught 8 catfish totaling 21 pounds, his largest catfish weighed in at 6 pounds using shrimp in the middle of the lake.
