Corona Lake contiunes to crank out big limits of catfish & tilapia. Fishermen deciding to target catfish, seem to be more productive in the evening sessions. Julian & Daniel, pictured of Highland park caught 10 catfish totaling 26 1/2 pounds using shrimp & mackerel at the Dam. Eric Fennell of Compton caught a 11 fish mixture of catfish & tilapia totaling 23 pounds, using both night-crawlers & chicken livers at the boat dock. AJ Romero of Rosemead caught 4 catfish, his biggest cat weighed in at 6 pounds for a total of 14 pounds using shrimp at the Dam. JJ Maldonado of Riverside, his first time fishing landed 2 one pound tilapias using night-crawlers behind the bait-shop. Corona Lake is open seven-days-a-week and has 24 hour overnight fishing/camping sessions every weekend during the summer.
