Low flows put a damper on the striped bass bite, but it helped catfish and largemouth anglers. Catfish have been the best bet with dip bait, chicken liver, and cut anchovies all working well for good numbers of whisker fish. Largemouth took drop shot plastics in green pumpkin, brown, and purple colors. Bridge pylons, outtake grates, and the areas before and after check gates all produced. Bass and striper were also reported by anglers throwing lipless crankbaits while working the sides of the aqueduct.
