The lake level dropped to 87 percent of its storage capacity, and water temperatures remained in the mid-fifties. Fishing has been fair to good at Pyramid with bass anglers using deep diving crankbaits in craw and shad patterns first thing in the morning. Finesse baits on points and over rocky structure took bass as well. Striped bass anglers reported a few fish eating cut sardines at the inlet. Otherwise, trolling has been responsible for most of the striper action. Catfish anglers did well in Yellowbar with chicken liver and dip bait.
