Fishing was decent at BV with trout anglers picking away at the remaining rainbows from the fishing derby. Shore anglers used garlic scented dough baits, Mouse tails, tube baits and nightcrawlers to land some quality fish. Spoons, spinners, and Flicker Shad also took plenty of trout. Largemouth fell for drop shot 6” worms in green pumpkin and brown. Bass also fell for crankbaits near rocky structure. Catfish anglers reported plenty of smaller grade fish eating SSS dip bait, garlic nightcrawlers and chicken liver. Crappie anglers used minijigs to boat some slab sized sunfish.
