Striped bass anglers reported a slowed bite with some better grade striper being hauled in. Cut baits and jumbo live minnows took striped bass near Tupman, the golf course, and Freeborn. Lure anglers used brown tube baits and white Flukes with a slower presentation to land fish after check gates. Catfish anglers reported a good daytime bite while soaking chicken liver, SSS dip bait, and cut anchovies. Bass anglers used drop shot grubs, reapers, and 4” Roboworms before and after check gates to land some cold winter bass.
