Here at Ming the bass bite has been a little slow. Our sources reported bass coming out deeper inside the tullies from flipping and punching. Spinner baits, weightless flukes, white buzz baits and 5-inch easy shiners are all good options right now. Lipless crankbaits’ ripping through the grass have fooled bass as well. Anglers after catfish have found them with cut baits and SSS dip bait. Bluegill are still chewing at a good pace on wax, meal and red worms.
