Anglers reported good fishing in the southern aqueduct with striped bass and catfish as the best bets. Striped bass have been on the small side, but there have been plenty of them. The trick has been to move until a school of biting fish is located. Cut anchovies, lugworms, and chicken liver worked for bait anglers. Lure anglers located fish after check gates with Flukes, swimbaits, and top water walking baits. Small jerkbaits in Aurora Shad worked as well. Catfish picked up SSS dip bait and cut baits on the bait rig. Good numbers and size of catfish were reported. Bass anglers reported some topwater action, but Senkos and drop shot Robos in Natural Shad and Ox Blood saw better action.
