Surface Water Temp: 62.7 degrees

Fish Plants: Scheduled trout plant is February 25th, 1000 pounds.

Lake Hours: 6:15am - 4:30pm

Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the high 40's to mid 70's.


BASS
Anglers are catching bass in the 15-25 ft range. They're bringing in smaller bass between 2-3 pounds. Dropshotting plastics works best for catching bass.

STRIPER
The striper bite picked up this week! Anglers are catching stripers between 5-10 pounds! The best time to fish for striper is the week of a trout stock. Trolling Swim baits in the morning work best. When shad and trout are breaking the surface, it's best to use lures that mimic them for top water boils. Mike Southerland, Ronald Berenschot and Ronald Berenschot II caught 4 striper averaging 5 pounds, and a 7.64 pound bass trolling with Mike's flies!

CATFISH
There was one report of a 7 pound catfish this week. Stink bait and cut bait work best for catfish.

PANFISH
Anglers are catching few panfish a pound and under. Night crawlers and mealworms work best.

TROUT
Anglers are catching many trout between 4-8 pounds!Powerbait, kasmasters and mini jigs work best for trout.Alex Sedillo of Hemet caught a 7.86 pound trout using a powerworm off shoreline.
