Panfish, Bluegill and Redear are good at Lake Perris, Bass are also working good

Some nice sized BluegillS are being caught off the Marina docks this week. They were biting in the morning hitting on crickets or mealworms in about 24' of water. Redear are active around the Island in about 18' to 24' of water. They are hitting best on red worms.

Bass are active all over the lake. They are hitting on nightcrawlers and plastic worms. The best colors are green and purple. They will also hit a wackie rigged on a drop shot.

Good fishing this week at lake Perris. Bluegill action is very good both from a boat and around Bernasconi shore hitting on crickets, mealworms and redworms. Redear action is a bit slower but can still be caught using mealworms and redworms. The Bass bite is best in the afternoon along the north shoreline.
