Fishing has slowed a bit this week at Lake Perris. The Bluegill and Redear bite off the dock is OK in the morning and the afternoon. The best baits are mealworms and crickets. If you are fishing from a boat the best spot is behind the Island. Bluegill & Redear are the top targets there and the bait of choice is crickets.

The bass bite is good off the shoreline or from a boat. The best bait is a purple plastic worm or nightcrawlers.
