The Marina Dock area has been great for Bass fishing this past week. The shad are starting to move in along the north shoreline of the lake. Trout are still hitting at the east end of the lake on worms and garlic PowerBait. Redear are being caught in 5' of water around the Island fishing with trout worms and red worms. Bluegill are slowly showing up around the Island as well.

The trout bite this week at the east end of the lake has been very good. They are biting from the shoreline to almost 30' out using garlic PowerBait or garlic worms. The bass have been very active at the east end as well. Swimbait and plastics have been the best bait for bass. The Bass are still hitting even though the weather has not been nice. Bass are being caught at the east end of the island on a drop shot rig fishing with plastic worms. Anglers say purple and pink plastics have been working best in about 10' to 18' of water.
