The trout bite this week at the east end of the lake has been very good. They are biting from the shoreline to almost 30' out using garlic PowerBait or garlic worms.
The bass have been very active at the east end as well. Swimbait and plastics have been the best bait for bass. Finally Redear are also being caught at the east end of the lake using red worms in 5' to 10' of water.

Bass and Trout asre best at Lake Perris
Lake PerrisThe Bass are still hitting even though the weather has not been nice. Bass are being caught at the east end of the island on a drop shot rig fishing with plastic worms. Anglers say purple and pink plastics have been working best in about 10' to 18' of water. Trout were stocked this week, and the Rainbow are around the shorelines of the launch ramps and lots 11 & 12 hitting on rainbow and spring green PowerBait. Bass are being caught but more at the East end of the lake where the water is warmer. They are hitting on a drop shot rig using purple or green plastic worms.
