The Bass are still hitting even though the weather has not been nice. Bass are being caught at the east end of the island on a drop shot rig fishing with plastic worms. Anglers say purple and pink plastics have been working best in about 10' to 18' of water.
Trout are hitting on Spring Green and Sherbert floating PowerBait around the launch ramos ad parking lots 11 & 12. Redear are starting to pick up around the island and in betwen Bernasconi shorelines hitting on red worms.

3-12-2012Trout were stocked this week, and the Rainbow are around the shorelines of the launch ramps and lots 11 & 12 hitting on rainbow and spring green PowerBait. Bass are being caught but more at the East end of the lake where the water is warmer. They are hitting on a drop shot rig using purple or green plastic worms.
