Another good fishing week here at Lake Skinner. Stripers, Bluegill and Largemouth Bass are what are hitting. Stripers are hitting well on chicken liver. Bluegill seem to be hitting on night crawlers and crickets.
Also as a reminder, September 3, 2011 will be a free fishing day. No license will be required that day. However, you will still need the permit.

Stripers are the ticket at Lake Skinner
Lake SkinnerFishing was good this week with quite a few catches of Catfish and Stripers. Catfish are hitting on mackerel and some other baits as well. Stripers were good fishing from a boat, near the dam. They were hitting on chicken liver and anchovies. Some Bass were hitting in the early morning, near the reeds in the coves.
