This was another great week at Lake Skinner. We had great weather and lots of fish being caught. Some of the hot spots were out by the dam a nd the inlet. Once again, Ramp 2 did very well, especially the catfish catch. Also a reminder, September 3, 2011 will be a free fishing day. No license is required that day. However, you will still need a permit.

This past week had a mixed bag of weather ranging from very hot to humid and raining. We also had some wind that affected the catching of fish. Catfish have been hitting good on Mackerels and the Stripers have been hitting good on nightcrawlers. We have also heard of some luck with plastics.
