Fishing was good this week with quite a few catches of Catfish and Stripers. Catfish are hitting on mackerel and some other baits as well. Stripers were good fishing from a boat, near the dam. They were hitting on chicken liver and anchovies. Some Bass were hitting in the early morning, near the reeds in the coves. Also a reminder, Sept 3, 2011 will be a free fishing day. No license is required for that day, however, you will still need a permit.

Once again, Ramp 2 did very well, especially the catfish catch. Also a reminder, September 3, 2011 will be a free fishing day. No license is required that day. However, you will still need a permit....... Read More
