Fishing at both the Upper Lake and the Lower Lagoon has been picking up in the past few weeks. Largies are starting to bite on top and a few more stripers are coming in everyday.

Nightcrawlers are still the best bait of the largies and stripers. The largies can be found in the back of coves and off the points. They are biting plastics and some reaction baits. The stripers can also be found off the points and near the Marina and dam area. Sardines and anchovies are not really bringing in as many fish as Nightcrawlers but still a few catches.

The pan fish are still biting very well at the lagoon all day and most of the night. The catfish bite at both lakes has been decent as well, most being caught on Nightcrawlers as well. The trout are also still biting at the west ramp on spinners, spoons and PowerBait.
