Fishing still seems to be getting better for the stripers at the upper lake. A few more fish are being caught on anchovies and Nightcrawlers in different spots all around the lake. Elizabeth Canyon, C - Point , the Buoy line, and Kong Island have all been spots for finding some stripers.

The largies are also doing pretty well at the lagoon and upper lake. The largies at the upper lake are biting on a few top water baits and are still hitting the plastics very well. Nightcrawlers, Robo worms, Flukes and spooks are doing the trick for these finicky bass. These will also work at the lagoon and are very good baits for the night time bite.

Night fishing anglers have been bringing in some 2 lb. crappie and decent sized largies all throughout the night. The trout are still biting on PowerBait and little tubes as well as little Super Dupers and Panther Martins.

Some anglers do find a hole where they can grab a few stripers on bait and Nightcrawlers. ...... Read More
