The Department of Fish and Game stocked the upper lake with 2,000 lbs. of rainbow trout at the west ramp on Wednesday May 18th. They have been biting Panther Martins, tubes and PowerBait. Some trout have made it over to the Main Launch ramp and are biting the same baits.

Stripers are still tough to find and even more difficult to catch. Some anglers do find a hole where they can grab a few stripers on bait and Nightcrawlers.

The largie fishing has been doing a lot better lately. Plastics and Nightcrawlers are still the best baits, some swim bait largies are coming in as well. The largies at the lagoon have still been biting at night on crawlers and have been getting into some catfish and crappie. Carp are still being caught at both lakes on an array of baits.
