Kaweah has been on the rise, and it was holding near 15 percent of its storage capacity at the time of reporting. Fishing was fair last week with bass anglers reporting tougher conditions. Largemouth and spotted bass have gone deeper, and finesse baits on the “dead stick” have been effective at enticing bites. Darker colored 3 and 4” baits were the wat to go. Trout anglers should get ready to load up as the second delivery of the year was slated for this week.
