Fishing was good in the southern aqueduct with some big striped bass in the reports. Anglers did well with cut baits after check gates. Several striped bass over five pounds took cut sardines, cut anchovies, and jumbo live minnows. There were also reports of a lot of small striped bass near Tupman. Tube baits, white Flukes and jerkbaits worked for the lure anglers. When the flows were low bass anglers used drop shot Roboworms, Senkos, and poppers to entice bites near check gates, outtake grates, and bridge pylons. Catfish were steady for anglers using dip bait and cut baits.
