Fishing was fair at Buena Vista Lakes with cooler water temperatures changing patterns. Trout were stocked here yesterday morning. The BV Trout derby is scheduled for this Saturday November 16th. Bass anglers reported success when they slowed their presentation. Weightless Senkos, Texas rigged 6” straight tail worms, and creature baits all took largemouth. Green pumpkin and Margarita Mutilator II scored some bites. Catfish ate SSS dip bait, cut baits, and chicken liver, and crappie went after minijigs, small swimbaits, and small live minnows.
