The second trout plant of season went into the lake this week and the fishing is excellent. Anglers reported limit-style trout fishing with garlic doused Powerbait, GULP pinched crawlers, trout jigs and spinners. Local angler Mike Lencioni and his grandkids fooled a 3 lbs rainbow with garlic scented Powerbait. There are larger grade trout in River Walk from this last stocking. The bass action is fair to good later in the day on reaction baits, jigs, and soft plastics. Bluegill are fair on worms.
