Pyramid Lake remained at 92 percent of capacity, and water temperatures dove to 70 degrees. Sporadic striper boils continued in Serrano and Yellowbar, but surface-feeding activity has definitely tapered off. Trolled umbrella rigs and cut sardines fooled line sides in 25 to 40 feet of water. Large and smallmouth took topwater, small jerkbaits, and Keitechs in the mornings, and finesse baits and stick baits were the way to go after that. Bass have been keyed in on shad, and using shad imitating plastics has been a good way to get bit. Catfish fell for cut baits, dip bait, and chicken liver near the inlet, Tin Cup, and Posey coves.
