Hart Park has provided consistent and decent fishing over the last month, and that trend continued last week. Many of the fish have been on the small side, but lunkers were landed as well. Bass anglers used finesses baits like split shot rigs, drop shot, and Senkos to nab largemouth near the floating weed beds. Topwater poppers and weedless frogs also fooled plenty of fish. Larger models have been holding under the lily pads, and punching techniques have been fooling them. Catfish anglers used fresh shrimp, cut baits, and nightcrawlers, and bluegill went after any live worm aggressively.
