Largemouth anglers worked their baits close to the cattails with flipping and pitching techniques. For anglers who would rather not fish heavy cover bass can be enticed with weightless Green Pumpkin Senkos and topwater frogs on weed lines. Spinnerbaits and crankbaits also produced near rocky cover. Crappie anglers did well with small live shiners and minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles. Catfish anglers Carolina rigged fresh shrimp, dip bait, and cut sardines for good numbers of whisker fish.
