Aqueduct anglers willing to brave triple digit temperatures found biting fish, but the bite has been the best in the mornings and evenings. Bait anglers used cut sardines, jumbo live minnows, and lugworms to get bites, and lure anglers threw jerkbaits, Flukes, and glide baits for good results. Catfish ate dip bait, chicken liver, and cut sardines on the Carolina rig. Remember to use a heavy sinker in the strong current. Largemouth bass took drop shot grubs, Flick Shake Worms, and jerkbaits. There has been some topwater action until about 9am.
