Striper fishing has picked up and a bunch of anglers have been landing smaller sized fish on topwater and shad imitation baits. Trolling has also been working, with umbrella rigs, flies, and spoons. The Striper have also been biting cut bait, and anglers have been managing limits. Largemouth bass have also been chasing shad. First few hours in the A.M. and last few hours in the P.M. have been the most productive. Small spoons, topwater, and flukes have been landing some quality bass. A nightcrawler and plastic worms on the drop-shot have also been seeing some action. The catfish have also been biting on worms and cut bait while anglers are soaking for stripers. The trout are just holdovers and have been hard to target. Halloween will be around when we’ll have our first stock. The bluegill and crappie are starting to show-up around submerged brush piles, and the lower lagoon has been a better area to target these species.

Once the topwater action slows down, most anglers have been having good...... Read More

Water level is extremely low and be cautious of new exposed areas up shallow. With that being said, the fish have less places to hide and they have been easier to catch lately. The Striper are also biting on sardines, anchovies, and...... Read More
