There was no real change for aqueduct anglers last week, and that’s a good thing. Striper anglers used cut sardines, anchovies, and jumbo live shiners after check gates for plenty of action. Striper also went for Flukes, and small swimbaits early in the day. Largemouth bass held in slower moving water and in eddies. They fell for Texas rigged six-inch brown worms and Smokin’ Shad Tiny Flukes on the drop shot. Bass also fell for topwater in the mornings and evenings. Catfish anglers armed with Triple S Dip Bait pulled catfish to 10 pounds from the depths. Catfish also fell for cut baits and chicken liver.
