Stripers have been boiling in the first few hours of the mornings throughout the lake, biting on top waters and kastmasters around Chumash Island, Spanish Point and Yellowbar areas. Cut baits such as sardines, anchovies and lugworms have been effective throughout the day in deeper water off points and steeper walls around the lake using a heavy sinker to entire the winds and currents.
Catfish have also been biting on the same baits with the same methods in the coves and off sandy banks of the lake. Bass have been pretty active in the morning throughout the grass lines on various soft plastics setups like flukes, senkos and creature baits weedless style to mange the grass a bit easier.
Top water baits have been working well in the morning hours and smaller swim bait presentation or the classic nigthcrawler though the day.

Pyramid Lake, CAWATER TEMPERATURE:_64 Stripers have started to boil during the first few hours of the mornings out towards the Yellowbar Canyon, Chumash Island and Posey cove, biting on various smaller top water baits, kastmasters, and soft plastics. Anglers have also been landing stripers throughout the day down deep on various cut baits like fresh sardines, anchovies, and cut mackerel.
