The first Trout plant of the season is Thursday, November 06, 2008. Catfish are still the major story this week, boating anglers are getting striper in the early morning hours on topwater. Baits and switching to trolling baits as the day progresses. Bluegill are plentiful when you find them.

These are the following ratings.

Bass: Good with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Bluegill: Excellent with an Average size of 1 pound.
Catfish: Excellent with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Striper: Good with an Average size of 3 pounds.

The bite catfish continue to provide outstanding late summer action. The lunkers are being reported by both shore and boating anglers.
