The fishing at Lake Skinner has been excellent. The catfish bite has produced for many anglers. Chicken Livers and Mackerel have been the top baits. The bass fishing has also been good.

The bite catfish continue to provide outstanding late summer action. The lunkers are being reported by both shore and boating anglers. Cats are still the main action, however large cats have now begun to be caught off shore as well as by boat. From shore cats are hitting mackeral and boat most have come off the chicken liver.
