Cats are still the main action, however large cats have now begun to be caught off shore as well as by boat. From shore cats are hitting mackeral and boat most have come off the chicken liver. Best spots are inlet and ramp #2. Striper have been boiling, but they are short periods when fisherman can get them, early morning and right as the lake shuts down at night. Bluegill still bitting in the east end and along the south shore.

Bluegill: Good
Carp: Fair
Catfish: Excellent
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Good
Trout: Poor

Big cats still coming in near inlets and dam of chicken liver. With a catfish stock of 500 lbs. on Thursday, Ramp #2 still the best shore fishing with most cats being caught off of mackeral. Big cats are the main event this week at Lake Skinner. The big boys are coming out of deep water near the inlet and the dam. Stocker cats still hitting near ramp # 2. But, have slowed a bit, but an upcoming stock bext week should help that bite. A few bass and stripers have been reported being caught in the early morning.
