Fishing at Castaic is good. Shad are up and stripers and bass are chasing them. Most boils have been in the mornings and evenings. The bluegil are biting good in shallow brush. Waxworms and mealworms are working best. The catfish bite is picking up. Mackerel and nightcrawlers working best for catfish.
