Fishing at Castaic is good right now. The shad is up, so stripers and bass are chasing and boiling. The mornings and evenings are best. The stripers are starting to bite cutbait and bloodworms in 40 to 75 ft. The bluegill have been biting good on waxworms and mealworms, in shallow brush.

Fishing at Castaic is good right now. Stripers and bass are chasing shad. Most of the boiler have been in the morning. The bait bite for the stripers has been picking up. Fishing at Castaic is good right now. Stripers, largemouth and smallmouth bass have been boiling on shad in the mornings and evenings. Stripers have been caught on bloodworms and lugworms lately in 30 to 75ft. The bluegil bite is still very good.
