The water temperature has cooled. This week it was on the slower side for many Anglers but there was still a few to be had. The fish seem to be going deeper, mostly caught in the middle of the lake, near the damn and Inlet. Next Trout plant is November 30, 2016.

Stripes: The striper have been doing great due to the fact of Trout stocking. Try using umbrella rigs, shad, Sibiki rigs, and crank baits. These beauties have been over near launch ramp 2 but now are spreading all over the lake.

Large Mouth. Large Mouth have slowed down. There are still smaller largemouth being caught throughout the lake. The colder nights are making them go deeper. They have been biting on pretty much anything. Try using purple or green robo worms, meal worms, wax worms, and good ole Nightcrawlers.

ro« r: We are scheduled to get a stock on the 30thh this month. It should be 600Ibs, which is great for the lake. Trout has been slow but after a few more stockings we should have a good amount in the lake and start seeing some more action. Power bait is always great to use on these beauties.

Blue Gill.- Medium action on the Blue Gills this past week, more towards the inlet and middle of the lake. Try using chicken livers, red worms and crickets.

Catfish.- Catfish are still very active around the buoy line and the inlet. Chicken livers and mackerel have been working best! Catfish have also been seen over by Launch ramp 2 and Catfish Alley.

Carp: There are still tons of carp in the lake. If that’s your fish come on out and see what kind of magic you can work. They are always fun to catch!!.

The ones that were going deep started to transition back up, but will soon be heading back down as the weather is going to be dropping back into the low 70’s. Striper: The striper have been tough to pin down. It seems as if they are starting to spread out chasing the trout. We have seen some luck working the coves on the...... Read More
