Excellent catfish action, with 1,000 pounds of two to four pounders stocked Monday. Best action has been on a Carolina rig with the M&M combo (marshmallow-meal worm), mackerel, or shrimp doused with garlic scent. Action has been good all around the lake with the larger fish coming from the north shore and grassy bank areas. Beautiful weather has allowed fishing throughout the day with best times still being early morning or late evening. Big fish of the week went to Aaron Bravo of Hesperia who landed a 22.5 pounder off the grassy bank using mackerel. Ryan Chow, also of Hesperia got a 10 pounder from the north shore also using Mackerel. George Reynolds Of Rancho Cucamonga took home a 8.5 pounder from the east bank using a garlic night crawler. Joe Guitterez of Phelan had a stringer of 3 3.5 pound catfish and Phillip Heath of Long Beach took home a four fish stringer weighing 18.75 pounds Active duty or retired veterans receive $3 off with I.D.
