Everything seems to be biting at Corona Lake. Anglers using the universal bait of night-crawlers have a chance to catch catfish, tilapia, bass, blue gill, crappie and even a monster sturgeon. Corona Lake is having a BIG catfish overnight tournament Sat. night August 3 starting at 5:00pm. For the full tournament rules and more details check www.fishinglakes.com.

Their first time fishing Corona Lake, Brendyn & Justin Ponce of Chino Hills landed 10 catfish totaling 24 pounds 5 ounces using night-crawlers & shrimp at the Rocks. Chad Homan of Escondido landed the largest cat for the week, weighing in at 9 pounds 5 ounces using Whoop Ass catfish bait at the dam. Chad also caught 4 tilapia using night-crawlers at JD's point, completing his 5 fish limit totaling 13 pounds.

Mark McClain, pictured of Menifee caught & released a 7 pound 3 ounce bass using a swimbait at JD's point. Daniel Ramierz of Mira Loma caught 4 catfish totaling 12 pounds using shrimp at the dam.
