Santa Ana River Lakes continues to produce heavy stringers of tasty Imperial Farm catfish. Anglers fly lining either shrimp or mackerel close to the shoreline are getting the most action. Heaviest stringer of the week was caught by Kevin Olley, Kevin Suto & Danko Harrison of caught 26 catfish totaling 62 pounds.

This 3 man team from Huntington Beach used hotdogs in the catfish lake. Biggest catfish of the week, 11 1/2 pounds was caught by Jeff Rocks of Orange using shrimp at "The Road". Roberto Rodriguez of Santa Ana caught 15 catfish totaling 45 pounds, with his largest cat weighing in at 6 pounds. Roberto was using both shrimp and mackerel at the spillway in the Big Lake. Jay & Monet Lamori of West Covina landed 14 catfish totaling 30 pounds fly lining mackerel from shore in the catfish lake.
