The catfish bite has been excellent, especially during the 24 hour fishing sessions. "Some of the best fishing happens around midnight" said Lake Guide Eddie of Team LGE.

Chris Stone, pictured of L.A. caught a big 16 pound catfish using mackerel from a boat. Alex & Scott Becerra, David & Roman Alcantar of Santa Ana teamed up and landed 12 catfish totaling 33.75 pounds using Whoop Ass catfish bait from a boat at the east end of the lake. Dwayne ward of Compton caught 7 catfish totaling 18 pounds using shrimp at J.D.'s point. Mikey Elliott of Imperial caught 4 catfish & 4 tilapia totaling 15 pounds using nightcrawlers at the boat dock.
