BASS
We have had a lot of reports of smaller fish ranging in the 2-3 lb range being caught this week full of eggs. It's just a matter of time before the big guns start showing themselves. Anglers have been using senko's in watermelon and green pumpkin colors. Mike Southerland, pictured above from Hemet caught a beautiful 6.12 lber using Mike's fly. He of course released it.

STRIPER
Stripers were being difficult this week. Jesse Mena, Photo #1 from Hemet won this weeks Striper Derby with a 20.08 pound striper in the cove by the store using Matt's deadstick lure. Way to go Jesse!

CATFISH
There were no reports of catfish this week. Typical bait for the cats are nightcrawlers, chicken liver and shrimp.

TROUT
Trout are slowing down a bit at DVL. Rainbows have been coming in from people using mini jigs, powerbait and powerworms .

PANFISH
No reports of panfish this week. With the warmer weather this week we should see some shallow. Most common bait is mealworms, redworms, and nightcrawlers.
