Surface Water Temp: 52-59 degrees

Lake Hours: 6:30am - 4:15pm

Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the low 30's to high 60's this week.

BASS
Bass have been showing themselves more frequently. Anglers are fishing with senko's in Rawson Cove, the 3rd cove of shoreline area and the cove around floating restroom #2. Tim Cardina caught a 2.15 pounder in the 3rd cove of shoreline using a spinner bait.

STRIPER
Stripers haven't been showing themselves this week. Swimbaits, anchovies and sardines are the choice of the week.

CATFISH
There were no reports of catfish this week. Typical bait for the cats are nightcrawlers, chicken liver and shrimp.

TROUT
We had a quite a few reports of trout this week. Rainbows have been coming in from people using mini jigs, powerbait and powerworms. Chris Mora, pictured above from Hemet caught this beautiful 8.69 pound trout using spinnerbait. Adrian Contreras, Photo #1 from Riverside caught a few trout using pewee jigs with his biggest weighing in at 5.35 pounds. Clint Jerome from Riverside caught a 3.6 pound trout using pewee bait in the 2nd cove of shoreline.

PANFISH
Redear , crappie and blue gills have been missing in action. Most common bait is mealworms, redworms, and nightcrawlers.
