BASS
Bass fishing is doing good. We have seen some nice ones coming in. Majority of the fish reported were caught using trout pattern lures. Shayne Tucker caught a 9.36 lb bass on a punker on the shoreline.
STRIPER
Stripers are still getting hit every day in the mornings and the trout stockings bringing them in. Their was some boils near the north side of the East Dam. Using lures in the rainbow trout and brown trout pattern have been extremely productive.
CATFISH
There have been no reports of catfish this week. Typical bait for the cats are nightcrawlers, chicken liver and shrimp.
TROUT
Trout are picking up. Justin Beitler and Christopher Turgeon caught some trout in the 3-4lb range using mini jigs. Typically best bait is powerbait or powerworms for stocked trout.
PANFISH
Redear, crappie and blue gills have been missing in action. Most common bait is mealworms, redworms, and nightcrawlers.
