BASS
Bass fishing has still been going strong with smaller sizes. With the overcast there have been some good hits on plastic worms. Majority of the fish reported were caught dropshotting purple plastic worms.
STRIPER
Stripers are getting hit almost every day due to the overcast in the mornings. Martin and Roman Martinez, pictured above caught a 15.53lb striper. Nate Dray, Photo # 1 caught a 17.28lb striper on the shoreline. Trolling white flies or scroungers in 30-50ft of water have been the most productive.
CATFISH
There have been no reports of catfish this week. Typical bait for the cats are nightcrawlers, chicken liver and shrimp.
TROUT
Trout are picking up slowly. The best depth for the trout are under 80 ft of water. Try trolling your best lure by the west dam. Best bait is powerbait or powerworms for stocked trout.
PANFISH
Redear , crappie and blue gills have been doing well. We had a few reports that the 2nd set of ladders by the East Dam have been producing stringers of blue gill.
