The bite at Skinner has been very good for Catfish, Bass or Stripers

The weather at lake Skinner has been hot with mild wind. Catfish are on the bite at the East End Cove or the South Shore. They are hitting either chicken liver, nightcrawlers or anchovies.

Largemouth have been caught at the North and south Shores and also in the East End and South coves. They have been hitting swimbait, jigs, nightcrawlers frogs and plastic worms.

Stripers have also been hitting right now at the Inlet, south Shore and the middle of the lake about 70 ft. down. The best bait for the stripers has been mackerel, sardines or anchovies.
