Bluegill and Redear were very active this week at Lake Perris. Best locations were off the docks and from a boat behind the island. Mealworms and live crickets have been the best bait.
Bass are being caught off the shoreline or from a boat. The best baits were either purple plastics or nightcrawlers.

The best time to fish at Lake Perris is in the morning right now, all species appear to be active.
Lake PerrisAction has been hot for all species in the mornings at the east end of the lake. Bass are hitting on either top water or plastics that are green or purple. Redear have been biting on trout worms or crickets near the Island. Bluegill are coming in in large numbers on crickets and mealworms along the Bernasconi shore and east of the Island.......
