Lake Skinner had nice weather again this week with temperatures in the low 80's and some fog in the early morning hours. The Largemouth bite has been good this week. Anglers are catching them at the East End using nightcrawlers and rapalas.

Stripes have been decent this week also in the East End and on the North shore. Effective bait for the Stripers has been Anchovies, plugs and any type of worm.

Bluegill have been going after live crickets by the dam area. Also this week Jim Crawford caught the first Crappie in awhile. It was a nice 2 lb'er at the North shore using a rapala.
