Angler's were catching fish whether they were fishing from a boat or from the shore. The weather was great with temperatures in the 80's.

Largemouth Bass were the most active this week. They were hitting on nightcrawlers. plastic worms and live crickets. Bluegill were the next best this week over a Ramp 2. They were hitting on live crickets as well. some stripers and cats were caught at the inlet. They were hittting on chicken liver and anchovies.

The weather was beautiful at Lake Skinner this week, with temperatures in the mid 70's. Memorial weekend brought many happy anglers. Experienced anglers and new anglers all seemed to catch something, whether it be a largemouth Bass or Bluegill or Crappie. The largemouth Bass are still active over around Launch Ramps 1 and 2, hitting on nightcrawlers and plastic worms.
